- Geography: Stretches across a narrow, roughly 16 km long strip of land squeezed between the sea and the backwaters/canal, with some parts narrowing down to just 33 meters in width. [1]
- Area & Wards: Covers an area of about 7.8 square kilometers divided into 16 wards, including areas like Srayikkadu, Azheekkal, Kuzhithura, Parayakadavu, Cheriazheekkal, and Pandarathuruthu.
